The Alpine Thermal Socks | X80

Some socks are made for warm days. The Alpine is made for everything else. Our thickest and warmest merino wool sock, developed together with our factory Sukkamestarit in Finland, where they know exactly what a cold winter demands.

Designed in Finland. Made for the cold.

The Alpine is no ordinary thermal sock. It weighs 144 grams — more than three times our lightest models — and has the highest merino wool content in the collection: 65% NATIVA™-certified merino wool. Combined with 16% TENCEL™ Lyocell you get a sock that is warm, soft and exceptionally breathable. Finns know what cold is. This is their answer.

Merino wool with Tencel — warm and breathable

Good thermal socks are not just warm. They also wick moisture away, so your feet stay dry even when you are working hard. The Alpine combines the insulating power of merino wool with the breathable, moisture-wicking properties of TENCEL™ Lyocell. The result: a sock that performs at -10°C and on a cloudy autumn day alike.

NATIVA™ — premium merino wool, fully traceable

The merino wool in The Alpine is NATIVA™-certified: 100% mulesing-free, regeneratively produced and traceable via blockchain from the flock in Uruguay all the way to your feet. The highest level of certification in our collection — for our heaviest and warmest sock.

Oat Limited Edition

The Alpine is also available in a special Oat colour: a warm, off-white shade that sits right on the edge of the natural variant. Available while stocks last.
